The “Viksit Delhi CM Internship Programme” is a scheme of the Delhi Government with the objective of engaging young interns pursuing graduation/post-graduation from various fields. The programme aims to harness the energy and innovative ideas of the youth pursuing graduation and post-graduation in India, which will be implemented in policy and decision-making to make Delhi a smart, clean, caring, and prosperous metropolis.

📌 Summary of Viksit Delhi Chief Minister’s Internship Programme

• This internship scheme is for 89 days (approximately 3 months), referred to as a “Term”.

• The time period of this scheme starts on 01 July, 2025 and ends on 27 September, 2025.

• 300 candidates shall be selected through a prelim/online screening test. These 300 candidates shall attend a boot camp, where 150 candidates shall be shortlisted based on performance in essay writing during the boot camp.

• Initially screened candidates are required to bring original certificates and their candidature/selection is subject to verification of certificates.

• The boot camp shall be held on 23rd July 2025. The venue and timing of the boot camp will be announced shortly on the portal. It is advised to check the website frequently for details.

• Candidates screened through the online exam mode will be given a topic for essay writing.

• 150 interns shall be finalized on the basis of performance in essay writing.

• Candidates are required to bring their original documents for verification.

✅ Viksit Delhi Yuva Internship Do’s and Don’ts

• Don’t cut/copy and paste.

• Don’t use AI.

• A candidate can apply/register one time only.

• After successful registration, a timer will start enabling candidates to answer 4 questions in a maximum of 300 words (subjective).

• Keep scanned copies of documents handy for quick registration.

• Don’t logout from the portal before completing the exam.

• Press the submit button after completion of the exam.

🎓 Viksit Delhi CM Internship 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be pursuing graduation/post-graduation.

• Candidate must be enrolled in the electoral roll of Delhi or have any residential proof of Delhi.

• Candidates must have scored 70% and above marks in Class 12th Examination.

• Candidates must be in the age group between 18 and 30 years as on the date of application.

• A copy of the student ID card, residence proof, 12th marks certificate, and 10th certificate for verification of age is to be uploaded during registration.

🗓️ Viksit Delhi CM Internship Programme Timeline Last Date and Result

• Website will be fully functional and open on 30.06.2025.

• Registration will start on 30.06.2025 and end on 10.07.2025 at 11:59 P.M. sharp.

• Declaration of prelim/screening results on 21.07.2025.

• Boot Camp will be held on 23.07.2025, wherein candidates will be asked to write an essay on a topic.

• Final result will be declared on 28.07.2025.

• Joining of interns will start on 01.08.2025. Interns will be given a 3-day time frame to join the office.

📑 Viksit Delhi Yuva Internship Selection and Joining

• Interns will be eligible for 5 days leave during the entire duration of the internship.

• Each intern shall be paid an amount of Rs. 20,000 per month, i.e., Rs. 60,000/- for the complete term, subject to attendance.

• At the end of the internship, interns will submit their report to the HODs of the concerned department.

• Interns who successfully complete the programme will receive a certificate signed by the concerned Head of the Department/Authorized signatory.
