Let’s decode the process flow so even if you’re new to it, you’ll get a clear picture 👇
✨ What is E-Kshana?
E-Kshana is a fast-track digital system under Nadakacheri Karnataka that helps issue caste, income, and residence certificates within hours instead of days. The aim? Cut the delays and make things more transparent.
🧾 Application Types in E-Kshana
You can raise an application in multiple ways:
-
✅ Using Aadhaar number
-
✅ Using RC (Ration Card) number
-
✅ As a sibling, if someone from the family already has a certificate
💡 If applicant details match more than 70%, the sibling route works. Else, manual verification needed.
🔐 Operator Login – The Starting Point
The Nadakacheri Operator is the first one who logs in and initiates the application. Once submitted, depending on the match and approval status:
If auto-approved based on Aadhaar/RC match:
👉 The app moves to RI (Revenue Inspector) or to the Mobile App for field verification.
🕵️♂️ Field Enquiry – When Needed
Sometimes, if the details don’t fully match, field enquiry gets triggered.
In that case:
-
DT (Deputy Tahsildar) login is used to either approve or order field verification.
-
If applicant already had a certificate before, the DT can reissue that.
-
If not, a new one is processed.
📱 Samyojane App Flow (for Caste/Residence Certificate)
If the application is caste or residence-related and Samyojane is enabled, then it smoothly moves to the Samyojane mobile application.
Here’s what happens:
-
VA (Village Accountant) uses the mobile app to verify and update the applicant’s info.
-
If all is well and approved, it goes to the next step: certificate issuance.
🖊️ Certificate Signing – DT/TAH Login
Once verified:
-
DT or TAH signs the certificate.
-
Based on who signs, the flow splits:
-
Signed by DT → goes to NCW login
-
Signed by TAH → goes to TCW login
-
These logins are for updating final reports and maintaining records.
🖨️ Final Steps: Printing & Endorsement
After the certificate is signed:
-
Operator logs in again to print the certificate or add endorsements.
-
The applicant gets their document in hand 💼
📲 RI Can Also Use Web & Mobile
Just a heads up:
-
RI (Revenue Inspector) can approve or modify field verification via both web app and mobile app.
It’s made flexible to speed up things, especially in rural areas where desktop access may be limited.

📌 Final Words
The E-Kshana certificate application process in Karnataka 2025 is honestly one of the better digital services in the state. If your application is clean and matching via Aadhaar or RC, you might get the certificate same-day. Otherwise, with field verification, it may take 1–3 days.
But overall, it’s smooth and fast — just keep your documents ready and follow the status via Nadakacheri portal or app.
