Entrance Requirements
- Admission through Competitive Examination conducted by ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research), New Delhi.
- Minimum CGPA of 7.00 out of 10.00 is required for continuation of the scholarship.
Master’s Programme (M.V.Sc.)
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science.
- Must have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST/sponsored candidates) or equivalent CGPA.
- Admission is based on ICAR’s All India Entrance Examination.
Doctoral Programme (Ph.D.)
- Must have an M.V.Sc. degree in the relevant discipline.

For Master’s Programme (M.V.Sc.)
- Admission is based on the All India Competitive Examination conducted by ICAR.
- All candidates (including sponsored/in-service candidates) must appear for the written examination.

For Doctoral Programme (Ph.D.)
- Admission is based on the IVRI All India Entrance Examination.
- 75% of seats (including sponsored seats) are filled through IVRI’s entrance exam.
- 25% of seats are filled through ICAR’s AICE-SRF(PGS) Competitive Examination.
