As a science or engineering student, are you fantasizing about an internship experience at ISRO? The LPSC Internship 2025, by ISRO’s Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre, provides students pursuing B.Tech, M.Tech, BSc, MSc (Chemistry) or PhD with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in ongoing, state-of-the-art space research. Working on real-time projects and guided by our personnel will allow you to take your first step into India’s space organization. Who Can Apply?

The internship programme at LPSC is open to Indian citizens only, enrolled in regular on-campus courses from recognized institutions (India or abroad).

Eligible Courses and Criteria

Course Should Have Completed Marks Required
BE / B.Tech / B.Sc (Chem) 4th Semester Minimum 60% or CGPA 6.32/10 (upto current sem)
ME / M.Tech / M.Sc (Chem) 1st Year Marks of qualifying degree
PhD Coursework Marks of qualifying degree

Note: BSc/MSc Chemistry students are eligible only for internships at LPSC, Bengaluru.


 Internship Duration & Schedule

  • Minimum Duration: 21 Days

  • Maximum Duration: 45 Days

Internships are conducted in two major slots each year:

Slot 1 – May to July 2025 (Closed)

Batch 1 01 May – 15 June 16 Feb – 15 Mar 2025
Batch 2 16 June – 31 July Closed

Slot 2 – October 2025 to January 2026

Batch Period Application Window
Batch 1 15 Oct – 30 Nov 2025 01 Aug – 31 Aug 2025
Batch 2 01 Dec – 15 Jan 2026 01 Aug – 31 Aug 2025

Applications must be received at least 45 days before the internship period begins.


Documents Required for Application

Ensure your application is complete and includes:

  1. Filled Internship Application Form (with all fields filled)

  2. Declaration by the Student and Principal/HOD (on institution’s letterhead)

  3. Detailed Biodata, including:

    • Educational qualifications

    • Area(s) of interest

    • Previous internships (if any)

    • Work experience (if any)

  4. Mark Sheets (as applicable)

  5. Valid Contact Details (Email, Phone)

Important Instructions

  • Internship allotment is not guaranteed and depends on the availability of projects, facility constraints, and the relevance of the student’s course to ongoing LPSC activities.

  • Allotments are made on a first-come, first-served basis, with limited slots available.

  • A student can only apply once per degree.

  • No stipend, transport, or accommodation is provided during the internship period.

  • Students are advised to keep alternative options ready in case their application is not selected.

Decision regarding selection will be communicated directly to the HOD/Principal of the applicant’s institution.
