Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a native of Madhya Pradesh.
- Must be a disabled student (PwD) with a valid disability certificate.
- Must be registered for PhD research work at a recognized university in India.
- Must have cleared an interview with the Research Degree Committee of the university.
- Must have secured minimum qualifying marks in their postgraduate degree as per University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines.
- The annual income of the applicant’s parents/guardians should not exceed ₹1,00,000/-.
- Only 10 students are selected each year.

Offline Application Process
- Advertisement Issuance:
- The Directorate of Higher Education publishes an advertisement for the scheme.
- Application Submission:
- Interested students must submit their filled application forms along with the required documents.
- Application Scrutiny & Selection:
- Applications are scrutinized, and the selection is done within the prescribed quota of 10 students per year.
- Approval & Disbursement:
- After approval from the Commissioner of Higher Education, the scholarship amount is directly transferred to the student’s bank account.
