Let’s address the elephant in the room: Can you download your Udyam certificate without an OTP? No.

The Ministry of MSME has tightened security in 2026 to prevent identity theft. Because your Udyam ID is linked to bank loans and the 45-day payment rule, the portal requires a One-Time Password to verify it’s really you.
However, if you are searching for this because your old phone number is lost or inactive, don’t panic. You aren’t stuck. You just need to change the “door” you are using to enter the portal.
The “Aadhaar Bypass” (If your old mobile is gone)
Most people get stuck because they try to receive the OTP on their “Udyam Registered” mobile number. If that number is dead, use your Aadhaar instead.
-
The Logic: Your Udyam is permanently linked to your Aadhaar. Even if your business mobile number changed, you can log in using the mobile number currently linked to your Aadhaar card.
-
How to do it: On the login page, look for the option “OTP on Aadhaar-linked Mobile” instead of “OTP on Udyam-linked Mobile.” As long as your current SIM is linked to your Aadhaar, you’re in.
The “Email OTP” Alternative
Many users miss the tiny checkbox on the login screen.
-
Check your records: Did you provide an email ID during registration?
-
The Fix: On the “Print Udyam Certificate” page, select “OTP on Email.” The system will send the 6-digit code to your registered email address, allowing you to bypass the mobile phone entirely.
The “Helpdesk Email” (The Last Resort)
If you have lost access to both the old phone and the old email, you have to go “Offline-to-Online.”
-
Process: Write an official email to [email protected].
-
Subject: Request for Mobile Number Change – URN: UDYAM-XX-00-XXXXXXX
-
Attach: A scan of your Aadhaar card and a request letter on your business letterhead. The technical team can manually reset your mobile number to your new one within 48–72 hours.
⚠️ Warning: Avoid “Bypass” Scams
In May 2026, there are several “crack” tools and third-party websites claiming they can “Download Udyam PDF Without OTP” for a small fee.
-
The Risk: These sites are phishing scams. They will take your Udyam Number and Aadhaar details to apply for loans in your name.
-
The Reality: No third-party app has the legal authority to bypass the Government of India’s OTP gateway. If it’s not .gov.in, it’s not safe.
Summary for May 2026
While you can’t skip the OTP, you can redirect it. Use the Aadhaar-linked OTP or Email OTP to get back into your account. Once you are in, the first thing you should do is go to “Update Details” and put in your new 2026 mobile number so you never face this “Impossible” loop again.
Is your Aadhaar also not linked to your current phone? That’s a deeper issue. You’ll need to visit an Aadhaar Seva Kendra first. Once your Aadhaar is updated, your Udyam portal access will automatically become easy again!
