⭐ Face eKYC — Mandatory for 2026 Installments

Face Authentication eKYC is now mandatory for receiving any 2026 installment. Without completing it, your payment will be held even if your application is approved.

Method 1 — Subhadra Mobile App (recommended):

Step 1: Download “Subhadra Mobile App” from Google Play Store

Step 2: Open the app → select “e-KYC” or “Face Authentication”

Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar number

Step 4: Allow camera access → follow face scanning instructions

Step 5: Face matched → eKYC complete — confirmation message appears

Method 2 — CSC / Mo Seva Kendra (if app is not working or no smartphone):

Step 1: Visit the nearest CSC or Mo Seva Kendra

Step 2: Carry your Aadhaar card and registered mobile number

Step 3: Ask the operator to complete Subhadra Yojana eKYC

Step 4: Operator completes biometric/OTP verification

Step 5: Collect the acknowledgement receipt

Method 3 — OTP-based online:

Step 1: Visit subhadra.odisha.gov.in → eKYC section

Step 2: Enter Aadhaar + registered mobile OTP

Step 3: Verify and submit

Important: After completing eKYC by any method, check your status on the portal within 3–5 days to confirm it is updated as “eKYC Complete.” If not, contact 14678.

NPCI / Bank Account — Quick Check

This is the single most common reason for payment failure — even for fully approved, eKYC-completed beneficiaries. If your bank account is not NPCI-mapped (Aadhaar-seeded for DBT), the payment will be returned.

Your bank account must be:

  • Single-holder (only your name)
  • Aadhaar-linked
  • DBT-enabled (NPCI mapped)
  • Active (not dormant)

How to check if your account has an issue: subhadra.odisha.gov.in → “Bank A/c Activation or Updation Needed List” → search your name

If your name appears in this list: Visit your bank immediately with Aadhaar original + photocopy + passbook. Ask the bank to complete Aadhaar seeding/NPCI mapping for DBT. Processing takes 2–7 working days. For the complete step-by-step bank visit guide and NPCI fix process, see the detailed status check & NPCI fix guide.

Rejected? Common Reasons and Fix

Reason Fix
Aadhaar not linked to bank Visit bank for Aadhaar seeding
Duplicate application Only one application allowed per family
Age not eligible Must be 21–60 as on April 1
Income above ₹2.5 lakh Not eligible under current criteria
eKYC incomplete Complete Face eKYC via Subhadra App or CSC
Name mismatch (Aadhaar vs form) Aadhaar information is treated as final — correct the form to match
Already receiving another scheme above threshold Check eligibility — may need to opt out of the conflicting scheme

After fixing the issue, re-apply at the nearest Mo Seva Kendra or CSC with original documents and correction proof. For detailed MIS error codes (101-105), see the status check guide.
