Trap 1 — Institution not verifying: Applications sit at “Under Verification (Institute)” for months. Why? The college scholarship coordinator hasn’t logged in to verify. Students assume the portal is slow.

Fix: After 7 days, visit your college scholarship coordinator in person. Show your application reference number. Ask them to verify on their institution login. This one visit typically unblocks everything.

Trap 2 — Wrong bank account: Scholarship credited to an old/closed account — or a parent’s account instead of student’s own.
