🔐 Tamilnilam Login – How to Do It?
If you’re a registered user (official, VAO, or surveyor), here’s how to login:
-
Enter your username, password, and captcha
-
Click Login and access your dashboard
⚠️ Note: This login is mainly for officials under Revenue Department. General public can check Patta/Chitta using the eservices.tn.gov.in portal.
📃 What is Patta and Chitta?
-
Patta: It’s like a land ownership certificate — shows the name of the owner, land area, and survey number.
-
Chitta: Contains details about land classification — whether it’s dry land (nanjai) or wetland (punjai), and usage details.
Both are now merged and available digitally via Tamilnilam and TN e-Services portal.
🏙️ Tamilnilam Urban vs Tamilnilam Rural
Depending on where your land is located, the process and access type can differ:
-
Tamilnilam Urban: Used for plots and lands inside town/city limits. Data is pulled from municipal records.
-
Tamilnilam Rural: For lands in villages and panchayats. Mostly used by farmers, agri landowners, and VAOs.
You can check both via A-register and survey number search.
📂 Tamilnilam A-Register – What’s That?
A-Register is an official land record maintained by the village administrative officer (VAO). It includes:
-
Landowner name
-
Survey number
-
Area of land
-
Type of land
-
Tax info
Now, you can view the A-register online via Tamilnilam portal (for revenue users) or request it at your local VAO office.
